red nose day
Today room 10 participated in a Kelly Sports event to support Cure Kids.
Cure Kids are people who take care of the sick kids. That means they need the money to give to the scientists so they can research a antidote. Here is an example, if the scientist have no money they can not make the medicine so that you can stay safe around people and you don't give your bug to someone else in your home or in the city. Your kid's health is very important to you and your kids make people happy to be around when they are healthy. Cure Kids helps you get your kid some medicine so they can get better. The more you donate the more the scientists have money to spend on research for the right types of medicines. Here was one of the games we played today. We played ball touch that was fun to play. I hope you liked my story.

Why an Elephant Would Make a Good Pet
Did you know elephants’ hearts weigh up to 27kg? That’s a lot of love to give! That’s why we believe elephants would make a great pet. If you’re not convinced...keep reading to find out more about why these beautiful creatures would be good for a pet.
The first reason to have an Elephant as a great pet is that they can help give you rides to work. This means you won’t need to worry about leaving your keys in the car anymore, because you’ll have your Elephant to ride on. You won’t need to use keys, you can use peanuts to start your Elephant! It also saves money for gas. If you crash, you won’t have to worry about paying it off.
Did you know Elephants don’t forget about you and how you treat them? If you treat them good then they will love you back. If you give them love, and kindness, they will have something to love and protect. If you do that your pet elephant would love to live longer. Elephants are loving creatusres so when you get older you have someone to turn to. Your elephant will be there for as long as you live.
The third reason why an elephant would make a great pet is because elephants are herbivores! This means they don’t eat meat, but instead, they only eat plants. Some of their favourite plants to eat include: grass, fruits, leaves, shoots, and bark. Imagine all the money you could save with a pet that is a herbivore! You would not need to buy expensive pet meat products. Your garden would also look beautiful too!
We have given you three fantastic reasons why an elephant would make a great pet. We recommend you buy an elephant today and start your life long adventure with your special pet.
Today we wrote about why a elephant will be a good pet to have as a friend for a life long time of friendship.

Kia ora welcome back to another term of fun at school.
Nua, mai hoki mai ki taku rangitaki ko teneni te wahanga tuawha o te tua? kei te pehea to hararei?
one thing i am really looking forward to this term is going on the trips so that i can hang out with my friends and have good time.
my personal goal for this term is to stop playing games i learning time so that i can keep the netbook that i'm using so that i can do my work and also stop talking when the teacher is talking.
to fully remember this year i need to listen more when the teacher is talking to me and the whole class so that i am not roud to her or the other kids in my class.
